Jharkhand - known as the land of forests, has amusing diversity of flora and fauna with scenic beauties, grasses and bamboos forest. It has rich and vibrant tradition. Local festivals are Karam, Sohrai, Phagua, Tussu, Vaha and Sarhul. There are several folk dances in State including Jhumair, Domkach, Chhau and Mundari dance, which represent its antique traditions.

As Jharkhand state is famous as Land of Forest, there are many Wildlife Sanctuaries and National Parks including Betla National Park, Hazaribag Wildlife Sanctuary, Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary, Gautam Budha Wildlife Sanctuary and Palkot Wildlife Sanctuary.
Top tourist attraction in Jharkhand also includes Jayda Temple, Sheesh Mahal Auditorium, Maa Chhinnamasta Temple, Chandil Dam, Ranchi Lake and Surajkund hot spring.Baidyanath Jyotirlinga temple of Deoghar is also known as Baba dham and Baidyanathdham is one of the twelve jyotirlingas and temple complex also has one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India.
Jharkhand state also have many Archaeological sites and heritage sites such as Cave Paintings, Isko, Hazaribagh district; Megalith Prehistoric Monument, PakriBarwadih, Hazaribagh district; Palamu Forts, Palamu district, Maluti, Dumka district and Navratangarh, Gumla district.
