DAY 1 : ARRIVE DELHI

Meeting and assistance on arrival at Delhi by our representative and transfer to hotel. (Hotel Check-in time is 1400 hrs).

Delhi
India's largest city, Delhi, has been one of the country’s commercial and economic hubs for centuries and, as a result, is incredibly rich in culture and history. Made up of the ancient walled city of Old Delhi and the more modern sector, New Delhi, the city encompasses a staggering array of beautiful architecture, notable monuments and age-old temples, including three UNESCO World Heritage Sites the Red Fort, Qutab Minar and Humayun's Tomb. Other key attractions include the 17th century Chandni Chowk marketplace still one of the citys most popular retail centres today, particularly for jewellery and traditional Indian saris; the iconic Bahi Lotus Temple an award-winning architectural gem; and the Jama Masjid, Indias largest mosque.

DAY 2 : DELHI

Breakfast at hotel.

Proceed for the guided city tour of Old Delhi including visits to Jama Mosque (the largest mosque in India) including cycle-rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk (the walled city), Red Fort (once the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire) and Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi Father of the Nation.

Lunch at a Local Restaurant.

Later continue sightseeing of New Delhi including visits to Qutab Minar & Humayun Tomb, India Gate and driving past through Parliament house, President House and Government Buildings.

Dinner at a Local Restaurant.

Overnight at hotel in DELHI.

DAY 3 : DELHI/SAMODE

Breakfast at hotel.

Morning drive to Samode (275 kms / 05 hrs).

Samode
A small village in Rajasthan, Samode is known for its ancient art and local handicrafts. Major attractions of Samode include the Samode Palace and Samode Bagh.

Check-in & lunch at hotel.

Day at leisure to explore this beautiful and Magnificent heritage property, and explore Samode village.

DAY 4 : SAMODE/MANDAWA

Morning drive to Mandawa (90 kms / 03 hrs).

On arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Mandawa
Located in the Shekhawati region of the Jhunjhunu district, the town of Mandawa is known as the "Open-air Art Gallery" of Rajasthan, India. Originally a trading post for rich merchants, Mandawa has recently flourished into a popular tourist destination offering visitors a collection of historic mansions, palaces and forts which feature elaborate frescoes and intricate architecture. This relatively small yet bustling town is a treasure trove for art collectors who can hunt through the quaint medieval bazaars for traditional handmade relics. The most visited attraction is undoubtedly the 18th-century Mandawa fort, recently converted into a heritage hotel, which showcases exquisite murals, paintings and mosaic work. Dont miss the spectacular Jhunjhunwala Haveli mansion which boasts an impressive gold leaf-painted room.

DAY 5 : MANDAWA / BIKANER

Morning drive to Bikaner (165 kms / 03 hrs).

Afternoon sightseeing of Bikaner.

Bikaner
The city is dotted with scores of Sand Dunes. More readily called the camel country, the city is distinguished for the best riding camels in the world and hence boasts of having one of the largest Camel breeding farm in the world. On arrival check in at the hotel.

Later proceed for guided tour of the city visiting the vast Junagarh Fort built in 1593 which houses a fine collection of weapons. If time permits a walk in the bazaars of the city.

DAY 6 : BIKANER / JAISALMER

Morning drive to Jaisalmer (333 kms / 05 hrs).

On arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Jaislamer
Situated amid the vast expanse of the Thar Desert on the far western border of India’s Rajasthan state, the city of Jaisalmer is home to the world's only inhabited medieval living fort. This 12th-century city served as a bustling trading post along the famous Silk Road and still to this day features markets selling silk, cashmere, silver jewellery, bronze statues and much more. The undeniable star attraction of this city is the spectacular Jaisalmer Fort, which rises from the desert floor like a gigantic sandcastle and encompasses winding streets filled with shops, temples, hotels and ancient mansions. Visitors can also look forward to taking jeep and camel safaris into the surrounding desert and exploring a variety of grand palaces, elaborate Jain temples and ornate havelis.

DAY 7 : JASIALMER

DAY 8 : JASIALMER/JODHPUR

Jodhpur
Known as the gateway to the Thar Desert, Jodhpur is the second largest city in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is a popular tourist destination featuring a variety of ornate palaces, age-old forts and sacred temples. Dubbed The Blue City", most houses in the old city are painted a beautiful shade of indigo. While Jodhpur is largely a sprawling modern metropolis, enclosed within its old city walls is a labyrinth of winding, narrow medieval streets and bazaars. Jodhpur is home to one of the largest forts in India, the massive 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort, which towers over the city from its sandstone plinth. Other must-see attractions include: the Umaid Bhawan Palace, one of the world's largest private residences; and the Jaswant Thada, an intricately carved white marble mausoleum.

DAY 9 : JODHPUR/RANAKPUR/KUMBALGHAR

Morning drive to Kumbalgarh (274 kms / 06 hrs).

Kumbalgarh
Located 84 kms north of Udaipur in the wilderness, Kumbhalgarh is the second most important citadel after Chittorgarh in the Mewar region. Cradled in the Aravali Ranges the fort was built in the 15th century AD by Rana Kumbha. The inaccessibility and hostility of the topography lends a semblance of invincibility to the fort. It served the rulers of Mewar as a refuge in times of strife. The fort also served as refuge to King Udai of Mewar in his early childhood when Banbir killed Vikramaditya and usurped the throne. It is of immense sentimental significance for the people being the birthplace of Mewar's legendary king Maharana Pratap. The fort is self-contained in all respect to withstand a protracted siege. Its defences could be breached only once by the combined armies of the Mughal and of Amber primarily for scarcity of drinking water.

Enroute visit Ranakpur.

Ranakpur
Ranakpur in the state of Rajasthan is one of the five most important pilgrimage sites of Jainism. It is home to an exceptionally beautiful temple complex in the Aravali ranges and a must visit for the tourists coming to this region.

DAY 10 : KUMBALGHAR/UDAIPUR

Breakfast at hotel.

Visit Kumbhalgarh sanctuary.

Drive to Udaipur (105 kms / 02 hrs).

On arrival Udaipur, transfer to the hotel.

Udaipur
Dubbed the Venice of the East, the city of Udaipur is built around three interconnected lakes Lake Pichhola, Fateh Sagar Lake and the smaller Swaroop Sagar Lake and encircled by the hills of the Aravalli mountain range. It is home to an array of ancient temples and fairy-tale palaces (several of the latter have been converted into luxury heritage hotels) and is known as one of Rajasthans most beautiful and romantic cities. Must-see attractions include the City Palace, the Lake Palace (set on a small island in the middle of Lake Pichola) and the Udaipur Solar Observatory Asias premier solar-gazing site.

Rest of the day free for relax or explore local market.

DAY 11 : UDAIPUR

Morning sightseeing Udaipur- Visit Jagadish temple & boat ride at Lake Pichola.

Lunch at hotel.

Afternoon visit City Palace Udaipur.

DAY 12 : UDAIPUR/AJMER

Breakfast at hotel.

Drive to Ajmer (275 kms / 05 hrs).

Ajmer
Ajmer is home to the famous Dargah Sharif, which houses the Tomb of Garib Nawaz, also known as Moinuddin Chisti, the founder of the Chisti order of Sufism. Ajmer is also known for Mayo College, one of the countrys first schools that was a stepping stone for British style of education. It is also a sacred city for Hindus and Muslims alike and is renowned for being a centre of history and culture and beauty.

Later we visit Anasagar, Dargarh Khwaja sahib and tomb built in the year 1864, soni temple Akbar's palace.

DAY 13 : AJMER/JAIPUR

Drive to Jaipur (135 kms / 02 hrs).

Jaipur
Fringed by the rugged Aravali Hills, Jaipur is the capital and largest city in Indias northern state of Rajasthan. This city is famed for being Indias first planned city featuring a multitude of pink terracotta buildings within the walled historic centre, earning it the nickname,The Pink City. Jaipur falls within the Golden Triangle, a popular tourist circuit, which includes Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, and serves as a gateway to the neighbouring desert cities of Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. This colourful city is a combination of tradition and modernity and offers visitors vibrant bazaars, lavish palaces and ancient temples. The salmon-hued old city is home to the opulent City Palace, encompassing an impressive assortment of palatial structures, sprawling gardens, courtyards and buildings. Dont miss the fairy-tale splendour of the Amber Fort, set against the backdrop of the arid landscape.

DAY 15 : DEPARTURE JAIPUR/DELHI
